Colour inkjets can be expensive to run even in the home and you just cant beat the crisp output of a good laser printer. The black cartridge has a printing capacity of 2000 costing the consumer 5 cents per page on average and if printing colour only 25 cents per page.

Hewlett-Packard Color LaserJet 2550

This is a good mid-range printer. It boasts 20 pages per minute black and 4 pages a minute colour. If you want a good starting point for a laser printer this would be the best bet. The black cartridge has a printing capacity of 5000 pages costing the consumer an average of 2 cents per page. When printing in colour each cartridge has a print capacity of 4000 pages costing only 10 cents per page on average. It also includeds a 125 sheet tray.
